(Muskegon Heights, MI) – Muskegon Heights police have released bodycam footage of the rescue of a man Saturday night who was found inside his 187-degree home overcome by carbon monoxide. Officers Amiya Overstreet and Mitch Wilson were sent to check on him at his Superior Street home because no one had heard from him for two weeks. His wife was hospitalized and he was using the oven to heat the home, and the carbon monoxide detector was broken.
He is expected to fully recover.
