JOANN To Close 33 Stores In Michigan including Muskegon and Grandville

(Lansing, MI) –JOANN fabric and craft store will close 33 stores in Michigan as part of its bankruptcy. In all, the retailer is closing around 530 of its stores across the county that it says are “underperforming.” JOANN filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection less than a month ago for the second time in 12 months. Officials had planned to keep all 800 of its stores open through the process, but now say the closings will start immediately.

The Detroit News reports that the following stores will close.
