(Cascade Township, MI) – A new record has been set for the number of passengers who passed in and out of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in 2024. Officials say four-point-17 million people used the Cascade Township airport last year, up around ten-percent from 2023’s record of three-point-seven-million. Chief operating officer Alex Peric says they have added more nonstop flights and improved customer experiences since COVID-19 hit in early 2020.
They celebrated yesterday with live music, therapy dogs for passengers to pet, swag, and a free yoga class.
