(Lansing, MI) – The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory for the entire state of Michigan until Wednesday. Wind chill readings are expected to be between ten and 25-degrees below zero. An extreme cold warning is in effect for the western portion of the Upper Peninsula, with wind chills expected to drop to as cold as 34-degrees below zero.
Along the Lake Michigan shore, lake effect snow is expected to result in eight-to-12-inches between now and Wednesday morning, with four-to-eight-inches of snow expected for Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, and up to four-inches in Lansing.
