Crash Involving As Many As 15 Vehicles Shuts Down Northbound US-131

(Grand Rapids, MI) – Grand Rapids police say a crash involving as many as 15 vehicles last night shut down northbound US-131 at 28th Street for several hours. Several people were injured in the crash that happened on US-131 at Burton Street. Police say lake effect snow is likely the cause for the crash as much of west Michigan is under a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service until 7 a.m. tomorrow.

The extent of the injuries from the US-131 crash is not yet known.
