(Lansing, MI) – Michigan’s OK2SAY school safety tipline is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The service has received around 56-thousand tips since launching in 2014, and program administrator Mary Gager Drew says educator feedback prompted the state to start the program.
She says students were reluctant to come forward with information about people making threats or having mental health issues before OK2SAY was created.
