(Comstock Park, MI) – A multimillion-dollar renovation is underway at LMCU Ballpark in Comstock Park. West Michigan Whitecaps president Steve McCarthy says they are digging down 16-to-18 inches to replace drainage and the irrigation lines on the field, moving the bullpens to right-center field and adding more areas for fans to watch the games. New group terraces are going in along with new hospitality areas on the first and third base lines.
McCarthy says within the next five years, they will renovate the suites and have the concourse wrap all the way around the field.
