Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Grand Haven Area Public Schools is excited to announce the appointment of Nate Hunt as the new Director of Communications and Marketing. After spending the last six years overseeing the communications efforts in Battle Creek Public Schools, Nate brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, creative communication, and storytelling.
Nate brings exceptional abilities in visual content creation, excelling in design, photography, and videography. His work is characterized by a deep commitment to authenticity, integrity, and
empathy, values that align perfectly with the mission and culture of Grand Haven Area Public Schools.
“We are thrilled to have Nate join our team,” said Superintendent Kristin Perkowski. “His experience and creativity will be invaluable as we continue to advance our communication
strategies and engage more effectively with our community.”
In his new role, Nate will oversee all aspects of communications and marketing, driving initiatives that reflect the organization’s core values and enhance its outreach efforts. Nate shared that he, his wife, Samantha, and their three young boys are thrilled to join the Grand Haven community and have already felt the warm welcome. They bring with them an incoming White Pines fifth-grader, a four-year-old preschooler, and a two-year-old future Buc.
“There are so many amazing things already taking place within the schools here,” Hunt shared. “I’m looking forward to uplifting and amplifying those stories, as well as the individuals behind
them, as we work to build awareness, trust, and pride in Grand Haven Area Public Schools.”
