Two Men Charged in Fatal Road Rage Incident

Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Two men have been arraigned by the Honorable Judith Mulder in the 58th District Court last week and are lodged in the Ottawa County jail after an investigation in a road rage incident that resulted in the death of 27 year-old ShaTera Coleman of Grand Rapids on June 25th.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. in the area of Lake Michigan Drive near Trillium Lane in Tallmadge Township. On scene investigation showed that two eastbound vehicles crashed, sending one of those vehicles across the median. That vehicle then collided with a westbound vehicle.

Ethan Luke Oosterhouse, age 23, of Middleville (Jeep Grand Cherokee) was charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Manslaughter and Reckless Driving Causing Death.
Denis Noel Perez, age 42, of Grand Rapids (Dodge Charger) was charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Manslaughter and Reckless Driving Causing Death.

Both subjects were arraigned by the Honorable Judith Mulder in the 58th District Court on August 16, 2024. Bond was set at $250,000 cash/surety for both men and both men remain in custody at the Ottawa County Jail.
