Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – The Grand Parade is on Saturday. The biggest event for the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival. The City of Grand Haven invites the public to place sheets, caution tape, golf tees, and chairs on all public property to reserve space for the parade and fireworks, after 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 2nd, 2024.
Materials placed before 12:01 a.m. will be removed by City crews.
The placement of spot-marking materials before 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 2nd, 2024 is strictly prohibited.
Please remember that no tents, sandbags, plastic tarps, duct tape, rocks, stakes, or spray paint are allowed. Plastic tarps suffocate and kill the grass. Rocks and stakes present a tripping hazard. All plastic tarps, duct tape, rocks, or stakes placed in any public park or on public property at any time will be removed by the City of Grand Haven.
Please do not mark spots on sidewalks, boardwalks, or parking lots for blanket placement or chairs.

SEAWALL MOORING: The seawall will be cleared of all boat traffic on August 3rd, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. No mooring will be allowed along the seawall after that time. Boats may moor on the seawall after 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 4th, 2024.
