(Muskegon, MI) – A state of emergency has been declared by Muskegon County after severe storms caused power outages, road closures, and damage. Board of commissioners chairman Charles Nash says the response and recovery elements of their emergency operations plan are now active.
The county is seeking an emergency declaration from the state as well. There were 67 miles of roads that were impassable after the storm Tuesday.
