(Lansing, MI) – At least two tornadoes touched down in Michigan yesterday. The National Weather Service says one hit suburban Detroit in Livonia and killed a two-year-old boy and critically injured his mother when a tree was knocked onto their home. The other hit Gaylord in the northern Lower Peninsula. The NWS says that was an EF-0 tornado that was on the ground for three-tenths of a mile and damaged trees at Forest Dunes Golf Club.
No one was hurt in that storm.
