(Grand Rapids, MI) – Those who drive to Grand Rapids for work or pleasure are feeling the affects of the cone zone. Construction is in full swing. Southbound US-131 is now closed at Hall Street instead of Burton Street. The Michigan Department of Transportation made the change this week as they make bridge repairs. The closure is still expected to end on May 24th. Traffic is being routed to Century Avenue, which runs parallel to the highway, south to Burton Street, west to Clyde Park Avenue, south to 28th Street, and east to US-131.
