(Undated) — The Beach Boys have the distinction of owning the longest active streak of consecutive years of touring. Including 2024, the ageless band has performed live in each of the last 63 years, with their first live shows in 1961. The music website Ultimate Classic Rock used data from setlist.fm to rank the acts with the longest active streaks. The ranking counts any calendar year in which an act performed live, regardless of whether it was a tour or even just one single show.
Six other acts are tied for second with 57 consecutive years: Blue Oyster Cult, Jackson Browne, Chicago, Van Morrison, REO Speedwagon and Santana.
