(Fennville, MI) – The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says there may be a link between a missing Chicago man and a body which was found on the shore of Lake Michigan last week. The man’s body was found washed up on the shore last Wednesday in Fennville. The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says a missing person from the Chicago area was wearing the same type of shoes that the body was wearing, which were size twelve brown leather Converse All Star boots. Fingerprints from the body have been taken and sent off to a national database with the hopes that they match.
The sheriff’s office says that while there are no initial signs of foul play, they consider the man’s death to be suspicious.
