Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Seventy Seventy Coasties received a nice Valentine’s Day gift. A evening out with dinner paid for by the community. The Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival reached out to the community and raised over $3800 dollars. It worked out to be about $50 per person with Coasties being able to use the gift cards at their convenience.
The Tri Cities Historical Museum needs the communities help. They are together an exhibition on the history of the Coast Guard Festival in 2024, titled “Picnics and Parades: 100 Years of the Coast Guard Festival.”
