(Cooperstown, NY) – The National Baseball Hall of Fame is announcing the inductees of its 2024 class. Those being inducted include third baseman Adrian Beltre, catcher Joe Mauer, and first baseman Todd Helton. Beltre was voted in on his first attempt and played 21 seasons for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers. Mauer is also a first ballot selection and played his entire career for the Minnesota Twins, while winning the AL MVP in 2009. Helton also spent his whole career playing for one franchise, suiting up in a Colorado Rockies uniform for 17 seasons. Manager Jim Leyland was elected last year by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee for the 2024.
The Induction ceremony takes place on July 21st in Cooperstown, New York.
