(Detroit, MI) – Detroit Lions fans are so loud and proud they broke Ford Field’s decibel record last weekend. During the Super Wild Card match up between the Lions and Los Angeles Rams, it was so loud in Detroit that the volume reached 133-point-six-decibels. The CDC says that’s the equivalent to the sound of a jet engine. Meanwhile, NBC said the game averaged 35-point-eight-million viewers on all platforms, which makes it TV’s most watched prime time show since last year’s Super Bowl.
Detroit will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs on Sunday at Ford Field. The Lions advanced with a 24-23 win over the Rams.
