Jim Dreyer Ends Attempt To Swim Lake Michigan

(Milwaukee, WI) – Jim “The Shark” Dreyer is ending his second attempt this summer to swim across Lake Michigan. Dreyer began his attempt at the 82-and-a-half mile swim from Milwaukee to Grand Haven Monday afternoon but called it quits late last night. Around 1 a.m., Dreyer wrote on his social media pages that he was safely back on dry land in Milwaukee and would give more details later today.

Dreyer became the first and so far only person to swim across the lake 25 years ago.
