(LANSING, MI)-Grab your bait, grab a pole, and head down to the fishing hole!
Don’t forget your fishing license.
The new fishing license and regulation season kicked off on April 1. Licenses purchased this year are good through March 31, 2024.
Fishing licenses can be purchased at Michigan.gov/DNRLicenses or by downloading the Michigan DNR Hunt Fish app and purchasing via the app.
The Department Of Natural Resources says there is an option on the APP to establish automatic renewal of your license annually.
