(Grand Rapids, MI) – Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss has delivered her eighth State of the City address, noting the regional industrial economy is forecasted to grow at twice the rate of the full U.S. economy. She discussed changes at the Grand Rapids Police Department since the hiring of Chief Eric Winstrom and the need to build more housing.
Bliss says Grand Rapids will need to build 14-thousand more homes by 2027 to deal with the current crisis.
