WGHN is 2021 Station of the Year

GRAND HAVEN, Mich.  WGHN has been honored as a 2021 Michigan Association of Broadcasters Station of the Year.  Grand Haven’s Favorite 92.1, Classic Rock 93.1 and Oldies 94.9 were recognized for programming that aired throughout the past year, walking away with 7 total awards in addition to Station of the Year.

Good Morning Grand Haven host Mary Ellen Murphy, Afternoons Host John Roberts, and Classic Rock 93.1’s Jesse Bruce were all recognized for programming spanning news coverage, community involvement, voice talent personality, commercial production and our first annual live holiday radio play broadcast of It’s a Wonderful Life.

When asked about winning Station of the Year, WGHN General Manager Mike Toth added, “I want to thank my wife Kimberly for standing by me and our awesome staff for doing great local radio.  Thank you to our listeners and clients for their support.  It keeps us motivated to do our best for the community”.

WGHN has won the MAB Station of the Year award 3 times in the last 10 years, taking home the honor in 2015 and 2011.
