Grand Haven Department of Public Safety Hits the Road in Support of Upcoming Millage

Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Grand Haven Department of Public Safety is hitting the road is support of the upcoming millage.  They will be at the Farmer’s Market this Saturday.

Throughout July and August you can find them at the market and Loutit Library.

City Manager Ashley Lastch says that they are at maximum capacity in the women’s locker room and the current facility does not have a current decontamination space.

Take another guided tour of the departments facility On Monday August 12. Several other dates to tour the facility through mid October.

The proposed ballot initiative would be an additional two mills (2.0 mills) for the next ten years for a period of 10 years and millage would appear on the ballot in November 2025 and run until 2035. Visit www.grandhavenpublicsafetymillage.org for more details.
