Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – A Grand Haven Department of Public Safety fire truck was hit by a suspected drunk driver Sunday while crews were already responding to a crash according to a Facebook post by the department.
It happened at Beacon Boulevard and Robbins Road. No bystanders were hurt, and officials say the fire engine absorbed the impact. The department says having both police and firefighters on scene allowed them to handle both incidents quickly.
